Prop Artist/Environment Artist/Texture Designer
Hi! I’m Joseph, a 3D Environment Artist and Architectural Visualization Artist, and a recent graduate from the Savannah College of Art and Design, where I earned my BFA in Interactive Design and Game Development. I specialize in creating realistic and stylized environments, with a passion for visual storytelling, real-world design, and immersive space creation.
Throughout my academic journey, I developed strong proficiency in industry-standard tools including Autodesk Maya, Unreal Engine 5, Adobe Creative Suite, Speed Tree, ZBrush, and Procreate, and I am certified in Adobe Photoshop. My experience includes building game-ready environments as well as producing architectural visualizations that focus on accurate scale, materials, lighting, and presentation-quality renders.
I’m currently expanding my work into architectural visualization, using real-time rendering workflows in Unreal Engine to create compelling interior and exterior scenes, realistic lighting, and high-end visual presentations for design concepts. I enjoy bridging the gap between technical accuracy and artistic polish, helping clients and teams communicate ideas clearly through strong visuals.
My professional experience began as an instructor assistant at an art camp, where I supported instructors and helped guide students through creative projects. I’ve showcased my work on The Rookies, participated in workshops including SCAD AMP, and continued developing my craft through mentorship and independent study.
I’m passionate about building environments that feel believable, emotionally engaging, and visually memorable, whether it’s a game world or a designed architectural space. My goal is to contribute to projects where design, storytelling, and high-quality visuals come together to create impactful experiences.
